Two exhibitions at two historic venues in one video! Watermen's Hall, home of The Company of Watermen and Lightermen, usually off-limits to the public, was the host of our first weekend of Totally Thames 2022 Mudlarking Exhibition. The National Maritime Museum was our second port of call, seeing another group of mudlarks exhibiting their private collections in this Royal Museum in Greenwich. In this video we're focusing on the finds, with an off-piste, unscripted directors cut voiceover! Watermen's Hall, home of The Company of Watermen and Lightermen, usually off-limits to the public, was the host of our first weekend of Totally Thames 2022 Mudlarking Exhibition. Explore the Georgian Hall and its historical riches with me, and meet some of the London Mudlarks that exhibited. Try out the Virtual Mudlarking Machine, see a WWI Trench Lamp, Mutton Bone Ship, a Medieval Money Box and learn more about what exactly a Beadle used to do.
